100 Ways of EarthFit- Day 41: A Fond Farewell

I had my last official shift at the Wildlife Refuge, and even though I’m going back for Book Club and Naturalist Training next week,  I felt like it was sort of a “last chance” kind of day.  It really was a crummy day on the refuge with rain squalls, but that was okay for me.

100 Ways of EarthFit- Day 26: Healthy Family

I have a confession to make that is truly truly the unhealthiest and non-sustainable practice I have right now.  Right now, because I’m unemployed, I do not have health insurance.  This post isn’t to welcome an influx of criticisms or advice that I’m sure is to follow anyways, but to point out the fact that I am not perfect, and I that I recognize that I still hold onto practices that are unhealthy. 100 Ways of EarthFit- Day 8: Something Worth Writing About

I thought I might be on a role today.  I finished my grocery shopping and did NOT buy unnecessary snacks (although I was tempted more than once).  I stayed within my calories, drank a pre-workout, took all my supplements, and went to a new gym to do a 20 minute interval on the elliptical and a 20 minute round of Death By Goblet Squats.  I did cave and snack on some corn tortilla shells while making Teriyaki Tofu Lettuce Wraps for dinner. But all I needed and wanted to do this evening before I wrote my post was to complete my Glute Exercises so I would have “something worth writing about”.
