Plastic-Free July is almost over. One more day. This is a perfect opportunity to re-evaluate your life practices this month. If you did the Plastic-Awareness evaluation in the beginning, try it again and see if your plastic waste has declined.
There is something cathartic, almost therapeutic about moving to me. Living in the same place for over three years is kind of a rarity for me and my husband. We usually move every one or two years.

When we start changing our own behavior for the better, it sometimes has a weird effect on our mentality. You want to shout from the mountain tops how eliminating plastic from our life has made it better. And you notice the actions of others NOT eliminating plastic much more prominently.
After an event I hosted earlier this month, an attendee mentioned she didn’t feel she did enough. She listed all the things her family does to eliminate waste, especially plastic. It was a very impressive list. And this lady thought she wasn’t doing enough.
